Poly Clinic management alleged for corruption.

ISLAMABAD -- The Poly Clinic management alleged for over 100 million rupees corruptions in the purchase of medicines.

The official sources in the hospital said former executive director and deputy executive director Poly Clinic in order to benefit a particular firm has purchased medicines for entire year despite the hospital doesn't have capacity to store more than three months life saving drugs.

The contract was a clear violation of the rules and regulations set by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Most pertinent is that most of the medicines have been expired within three months of purchase.

PPRA allows purchase of medicines for three years only as most of the life saving drugs needs special care and temperature.
