Political chaos.

THE opposition has been pursuing a single-item agenda of bringing down the government by fair means or foul since the 2018 elections.

If the opposition succeeds, there will be new elections. This will involve the mobilisation of massive human and physical resources throughout the country at a considerable cost, and there is no certainty that the results will be any different this time round.

In most democratic countries, particularly in the West, political parties contest elections to serve their people and the country.

No matter on which side of the aisle they sit in the assemblies, their goal of serving the electorate remains unchanged.
