Polio vaccination drive continues.

LAHORE -- Polio teams are going door to door to vaccinate children as the ongoing special polio eradication drive entered its second day on Tuesday.

On the first day of the campaign, more than three million children were vaccinated in 12 districts where the campaign is being held.

In Bhakkar, more than 120,000 children were vaccinated on the first day of the campaign. In Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad and Lahore, 256,000, 353,000, and 438,000 children were vaccinated, respectively.

In Layyah, 139,000 children were vaccinated, while in Mianwali, 108,000 children received the vaccine. In Multan and Muzaffargarh, 326,000 and 336,000 children were vaccinated, respectively. The teams vaccinated 143,000 children in Rajanpur, 216,000 in Rawalpindi, 368,000 in Rahim Yar Khan and 343,000 in Sheikhupura.
