Policeman arrested in rape case.

RAWALPINDI -- A woman was allegedly raped by a constable at his residence in Sadiqabad which led to his arrest on Friday.

The victim, who is a complainant in a criminal case that she had registered with Sadiqabad police last month, had been visiting the police station seeking arrest of the suspects.

She said in the FIR that she met with the constable regarding investigation of the case that she had registered earlier and he assured her that he would help her out, adding, he began frequently contacting her on WhatsApp and later proposed to her.
