Police asked to remove illegal bus stands, CNG cylinders.

HYDERABAD -- Traffic police have been directed to dismantle all illegal bus stands from the city and remove gas cylinders from passenger vans in compliance with directives of Sindh High Court, said Hyderabad Deputy Commissioner Aijaz Ali Shah.

He said at a meeting with district regional transport authority (DRTA) officials in his office on Friday that traffic police should change their attitude towards public and take strict action over violation of traffic laws. The amount of fine should be increased and no pressure should be accepted in matters of regulation of traffic, he said.
