PML-N's Zubair slams Hafeez Sheikh as he campaigns for PPP's Gillani.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair on Friday said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate for the general Senate seat from Islamabad, Hafeez Sheikh was not even a party member as he campaigned for Yousuf Raza Gillani - Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) candidate for the Senate general seat from Islamabad.

Addressing a Press conference here, he said Hafeez Sheikh was not a PTI member even.

He said Hafeez Sheikh has no commitment with the country and predicted he will leave the country on the very day PTI government goes which he said is writing on the wall.

He said the PTI government got foreign loans which, he claimed, were disproportionate to the expenditures even.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had constituted a commission to investigate the loans taken by the successive governments during 2008-2018 and added it would have been appropriate if the commission probes the loans taken during the incumbent PTI government. He said the Commission should probe the PTI tenure when it comes to taking loans as they have taken more loans as compared to the previous government.

He said the Prime Minister had in recent past ordered an investigation against former Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh and now nominated him as his party candidate for the Senate seat. He appealed to...
