PMDC issues 5,000 registration certificates to doctors.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), which was dysfunctional for almost six months, has issued more than 5,000 certificates of registration in over three weeks.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, the council has been working with minimum staff due to Covid-19.'Allstake holdersand doctors' community have appreciated efforts of the PMDC;after opening,therehadbeen aback logof almost 6,534 cases out of which itmanagedto issue more than 5,000 certificates of registration,' it stated.

According to a spokesperson, since the office opened, approximately 5,500 new cases have been received from doctors for registration.'PMDC staff is working day and night in shifts to facilitate doctors. Keeping Covid-19 inmind, doctorsare requested to post their documents to PMDC to avoid...
