PM okays Rs5bn development package for Mansehra: MNA.

MANSEHRA: Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the supply of natural gas to Balakot and adjoining villages.

'The prime minister has approved Rs5 billion development package, including the supply of natural gas to Balakot and construction of bridges and roads in Mansehra district,' MNA Salah Mohammad Khan told reporters here on Thursday.

Mr Salah, who met the premier along with other PTI lawmakers on Wednesday, said development projects worth billions of rupees were also approved for Hazara division.

'The construction of Datta-Kotkay Road will ease traffic burden on Mansehra city and its suburbs,' he said.

The lawmaker said 132KV grid station would also be built in Pakhal area of Mansehra district to reduce power outages and address low voltage issue in Baffa, Shinkiari and adjoining areas.

He said the construction of five roads was also approved for Balakot tehsil, where two suspension bridges would be replaced with concrete ones.

Mr Salah said the prime minister asked lawmakers to stay in contact with people and address their problems.
