PM Kakar to reach China on two-day visit next week: FO.

ISLAMABAD -- Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will reach China on a two-day official visit next week, confirmed Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch.

Speaking to the media during weekly briefing, the FO spokesperson said that the premier will be visiting China to attend the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) at the request of the Chinese president.

The Pakistan interim prime minister will hold a meeting with world leaders on the sidelines of the BRI forum.

China will hold the 3rd summit on international cooperation under the Belt and Road IniAtiative (BRI) on 17-18 October in Beijing.

Several leaders from around the world including President Vladimir Putin, are expected to attend the summit as China has invited leaders from more than 50 countries of Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Latin America.
