B.ser-od Places 4th At Beppu-oita Marathon

Mongolian State Honored Athlete and long-distance runner B.Ser-Od placed fourth in the 64th Beppu-Oita Marathon, also known as the International Association of Athletics Federations Silver Label Road Race.

The marathon took place on February 2 in Beppu, Japan only in men’s category. B.Ser-Od finished the race in two hours, 10 minutes and 59 seconds, while the winner, Uganda’s Abraham Kiplimo completed the distance in two hours, nine minutes and 23 seconds. Japanese runners won silver and bronze medals.

After the marathon, B.Ser-Od established an agreement with the Japanese Kuwana city-based NTN to race for the company. The runner will move to Japan in April to compete...
