Pims doctors reach written agreement.

Unrest amongst employees of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) has calmed after an agreement between the executive director of the hospital and the former head of the Mother and Child Hospital.

A dispute erupted between Executive Director Dr Raja Amjad and Dr Mutahir Shah last month after Dr Shah asked Dr Amjad to write his annual confidential report (ACR). Dr Amjad refused to write the report, leading to a heated argument between then.

Dr Amjad then lodged an FIR against Dr Shah alleging that he was armed, followed him for five kilometres and tried to kill him. Dr Shah was arrested, but his bail could not be...
