Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has conducted about three hundred training programs for parliamentarians since its inception in a bid to help them understand the parliamentary processes and better discharge their duties. In an interview, President of PILDAT Ahmed Bilal Mehboob said the purpose of establishing this organization was to contribute to the strengthening of democracy and democratic institutions in the country.
