Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar, Associate Professor, Physics Department, Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) gave seminars on, "Physics For All: Using Experiments to Spice up the Student Experience" at Government Postgraduate College for Women, Wahdat Colony, Lahore and University of the Punjab, Lahore on November 26, 2018 and November 28, 2018 respectively.

In these talks, Dr. Anwar presented an overview of some exciting projects taken at the Physlab, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan. The idea is to use high speed cameras and motion sensors to capture physical phenomena, in particular kinematic problems. He demonstrated how techniques borrowed from image and video processing, some of them used in the entertainment industry, can be employed to track pendulums, springs, frictional motion, gyroscopes, and collisions.
