PFA sets up free milk-testing camp.

LAHORE -- The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Saturday set up a camp offering free milk-testing facility for the residents of the Walled City.

According to a handout, the PFA teams are also educating the people about the impact of adulterated milk on human health, especially the children, besides offering a free milk-testing facility.

It says a large number of people visited the PFA camp to avail the facility and appreciated the initiative of the food authority.

PFA Director General Shoaib Khan Jadoon supervised the activity of the teams at the camp and carried out a door-to-door campaign to make the initiative successful.

He said the purpose of the camp was to check the menace of milk adulteration as per the Punjab government's vision.

He urged the people to join hands with the PFA for eliminating the adulteration mafia and counterfeiters from society, warning such elements that no one found breaching the law would be spared.

On the DG's directions, PFA made announcements from all major mosques in the Walled City area asking the residents to bring 200ml raw milk to the camp to get it tested...
