People urged to work for marginalised sections.

SWAT -- Civil society activists, writers and philanthropists on Monday urged people to financially help the marginalised sections, especially those affected by the Covid-19-induced lockdown.

They were speaking at a dialogue titled 'the journey of success' organised by Khpal Kaliwal Kokarai Tanzim (KKKT).

The speakers said helping the needy people voluntarily gave true satisfaction to the charity givers, and that it was high time the people came forward and contributed to the betterment of the communities.

Shedding light on different aspects of their lives and success stories of their voluntary work, the activists said donating time, money and skills for charitable cause were the highest deeds bringing real change in societies.

'Highlighting social ills and their solution through writing not only brings satisfaction to the writer's heart but also promotes positive trends. It also nurtures and develops mental and educational approaches,' said writer and publisher Fazal Rabi Rahi.
