PCB to honour Kiran Khan and Sarah Mahboob on International Women's Day.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will honour Olympic swimmer Kiran Khan and the country's top-ranked female tennis player Sarah Mahboob on March 8 - International Women's Day.

According to a press release issued by the PCB on Friday, the two athletes will be honoured for their services though the Hamaray Heroes platform.

Khan has been recognised by the World Olympians Association for representing Pakistan at multiple Olympic events and is a recipient of the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, the statement said.

Over the course of her career, Khan has bagged 327 national gold medals and 47 medals in international competitions, it added.

Mahboob is the first female tennis player from Pakistan to secure a qualification in the main draw of an International Tennis Federation's tournament - a feat that she achieved in 2010, the statement read.

In 2004, she became the youngest-ever Pakistani national champion, at the age of 14, and is currently the country's top-ranked female tennis player, it added.
