Pakistani teacher wins laurels.

ISLAMABAD -- A teacher from Pakistan is among six regional winners, who made it to the final round of the 2022 Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards, a global competition, through which services of teachers who go the extra mile to help students achieve their full potential are recognised.

According to a press release, the six were selected out of 7,000 nominees from 113 countries. The teacher selected from Pakistan, Uroosa Imran, works at Beaconhouse School System.

Ms Uroosa was selected for the effort she made towards helping a child who suffers from a muscular disease due to which he is unable to sit, walk or hold things in his hands.
