Pakistan reports 78 deaths by coronavirus in one day.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has confirmed 78 deaths in a single day by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 217,809. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 4,473 on Thursday. So far there are 2723 critical coronavirus patients present in the country. Punjab province is at the top in terms of deaths from the coronavirus in the country and Sindh province is at the top in terms of coronavirus patients in the country.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Thursday, out of 217, 809 Covid-19 positive patients, 104, 694 have so far recovered from the disease across the country. Meanwhile there are 108,642 active coronavirus patients present in the country.

In Punjab out of 77,740 corona patients, 28,266 have recovered. In Sindh, 86,795 confirmed cases of Coronavirus have been reported. Of these, 48,527 have recovered. 26,938...
