Pakistan paid over 10 bn dollars as interest on 36 billion dollars foreign loans during nine years tenure of PPP and PML-N, NA apprised.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has paid more than 10 billion dollars under the head of interest on the huge foreign loans amounting to 36 billion dollars during the tenures of both the main opposition parties during the last nine years.

The national assembly was apprised of the details. To a question of Uzma Riaz, in written answer, it was informed by the finance ministry that Pakistan paid more that 3 billion, 78 cror, 21 lacs dollars under the head of interest on foreign loans of amounting to 7 billion, 93 cror, 90 lacs dollars during the tenure of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) from 2009...
