Pakistan HC in BD hosts art exhibition.

ISALAMABAD -- High Commission for Pakistan, Dhaka organized an exhibition to showcase art, crafts and cuisines as well as coffee table books on Pakistan at the Pakistan House in Dhaka, Bangladesh, says a press release received here on Sunday from Dhaka.

According to a PID information, aimed at displaying the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Pakistan, the event was part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of Pakistan. It was attended by a large number of artists, academics, arts enthusiasts, members of civil society, representatives of diplomatic corps, Pakistani diaspora in Bangladesh and local journalists. Pakistan's High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, inaugurated the exhibition and remarked that Pakistan had a rich and diverse cultural heritage. Young artists of Pakistan are enriching ancient traditions with their innovative art and craft blending ancient with the modern.
