ISLAMABAD -- The Ministry of Commerce organised a Pakistan-Egypt Trade Conference in Islamabad. It was the first of a series of such conferences planned with African countries under the ministry's 'Look Africa Policy Initiative'. A high powered delegation from Egypt, led by Egyptian Commercial Service's First Undersecretary Ahmed Anter, was invited to attend the conference. The Ministry of Commerce and the Egyptian Commercial Service on the occasion also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the establishment of a Pakistan-Egypt Joint Working Group (JWG) on trade.
