PA resolution against attack on Imran.

LAHORE -- The Punjab Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution against the assassination attempt on the life of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and torture of Senator Azam Swati.

In the session, the resolution chided the federal government for not constituting a judicial commission to investigate both matters. It also urged the chief justice of Pakistan to form a judicial commission under him into the matter so that facts could come forth.

The House also adopted another resolution condemning the brutal murder of senior journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya and demanded its fair investigation and those involved in this heinous crime should be brought to justice.
