Over 23,000 appear in SU entry test.

HYDERABAD -- More than 23,000 candidates, about 5,000 among them girls, appeared in pre-entry test for admission to 61 disciplines in the Sindh University's main campus in Jamshoro and six other campuses in as many cities on Saturday.

The test was conducted by Sindh University Testing Centre simultaneously at the university's campuses in Jamshoro, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Dadu, Thatta, Larkana and Naushahro Feroze.

According to the university spokesman, a total of 23,898 aspirants appeared in the tests - 16,456 male and 4,901 female candidates - at the main campus.

As per breakup of candidates at other campuses, a total of 198 students turned up at the university's Laar campus in Badin, 442 at Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Campus in Dadu, 90 at Thatta campus, 394 at Mirpurkhas, 323 at Larkana campus and 153 sat the test at Syed Allahando Shah campus in Naushahro Feroze.
