Out-of-job daily wager 'commits suicide'.

SHEIKHUPURA -- A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous pills due to financial issues in Jhaber village here on Monday.

Aziz Usman was a daily wager and the only breadwinner of his family.

He had been out of work since the imposition of a lockdown in the country due to which his family would taunt him.

A dejected Usman was allegedly forced to commit suicide.

A witness said Usman tried to get relief through the prime minister's Ehsaas cash programme, but failed. Police handed over his body to his family.
