Oath Commissioner posts: LHC reserves 25 per cent quota for women.

LAHORE -- The Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday reserved 25 per cent quota for female lawyers in the posts of oath commissioners across the Punjab.

In a letter written to all district and sessions judges in Punjab, the LHC registrar said that Justice Mohammad Qasim Khan had approved the women quota against the posts of oath commissioners to encourage new entrants in the profession of law.

"25 per cent of total sanctioned strength of oath commissioners at district headquarters and tehsil headquarters is reserved for female lawyers and all district and sessions judges would ensure compliance of the orders in future", it added.
