No evidence found against two PPP leaders, says NAB.

KARACHI -- The National Accountability Bureau on Tuesday informed the Sindh High Court that no evidence was found against a provincial minister and a former MNA of the Pakistan Peoples Party during inquiries against them for possessing assets beyond their known sources of income.

Earlier, the SHC had granted interim pre-arrest bail to Sindh Minister Taimur Talpur and former PPP MNA Abdul Hakeem Baloch after they had moved the court and expressed apprehension that they might be arrested by NAB which had initiated inquires against them.

On Tuesday, both the petitions came up for hearing before a two-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M. Shaikh. A NAB prosecutor informed the court that no evidence was found against the petitioners during the inquiries...
