By the time you read this even more innocent lives would have been lost in the latest iteration of the violence that has come to define the hellish existence that has been the Palestinians' lot ever since a fascist state has been established on their homeland by European settlers.

This time, the stakes are higher than they have been in the recent past. The so-called 'Iron Dome' has been breached by the ragtag militia that runs the Gaza Strip. On top of the technical failure of the IDF, it is also surprising that the Wehrmacht's intelligence apparatus wasn't able to pick up any chatter from the open air prison that Gaza is.

Several Western states have released statements condemning Hamas while emphasizing Israel's right to self-defense. However, they tend to overlook the root cause of the ongoing conflict: the actions of the far-right Israeli government, which has subjected Palestinians to a reign of terror.
