LAHORE -- Prime Minister's Spokesperson Nadeem Afzal Chan has said that new local government system election would be held within a year in Punjab. He expressed that it is to facilitate the common people at the grassroots level.

Talking to the media, Nadeem Afzal Chan asserted it is very vital to facilitate city and village level with this new local government system.

PM Spokesperson said that a constructive change would soon be observed in the country's institutions, economy and other sectors due to concrete and positive measures taken by the PM Imran Khan. 'New LG system to bring prosperity in the country and will ensure devolution of the powers', PM said.
