Negotiations with India, restoration of trade relations should be made conditional to resolution of Kashmir issue: Liaqat Baloch.

LAHORE -- Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, former parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Liaqat Baloch has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan's statement on Kashmir, Afghanistan and Palestine is an expression of national sentiments but the same statement has been made by every ruler in the past. Well, they kept shouting wow, but on a solid basis, like in the past, there is still no unified national policy, he said. Liaqat Baloch said that negotiations with India, restoration of trade relations should be made conditional to the resolution of Kashmir issue for every institution of regional cooperation.

While talking to a delegation of Kashmiri youth, Liaqat Baloch said that any action other than this would be a betrayal of the blood of the Kashmiri people. He said that the contradiction between the state institutions and the government's position is causing concern among the people. Instead of secret and mysterious, dubious attitudes, a clear national strategy on Kashmir, Palestine and Afghanistan should be formulated, only good speeches will not change destinies.

Liaqat Baloch, while talking to a delegation of youth protesting against inflation and unemployment in Lahore, said that the economic policy of Prime Minister Imran Khan was directionless and the budget was being prepared under the supervision of IMF...
