Nawaz Sharif is fighting for his life: Ahsan Iqbal.

ISLAMABAD -- Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry has said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is fighting for his life.

While talking to media outside Islamabad High Court after court's verdict in Al-Azizia Steel Mills case, Ahsan Iqbal said that Nawaz Sharif's condition is critical.

'The doctor said that Nawaz Sharif is fighting for his life and his condition is critical. There has not been a penny of corruption proven against him yet he is in jail because of Imran Khan's revenge politics,' he said.

The PML-N leader said that Imran Khan and his government will be responsible if anything happens to Nawaz Sharif.

'I strongly condemn this revenge politics of PTI-led government. The medical board has stated that Nawaz Shari's condition is critical but he will not bow down in front of this government,' he added.

Speaking on the judgment, he said that Nawaz Sharif has been given a temporary relief. Ahsan Iqbal further stated that thousands of people are protesting against this government.

'Today people in huge numbers are protesting against this incompetent government as it has failed to deliver. We have lowest growth in nine years and there is inflation and unemployment everywhere,' he said.
