Narcotics case: Rana Sanaullah's judicial remand extended till Nov 16.

LAHORE -- An Anti-Narcotics Court has on Saturday extended Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab President Rana Sanaullah Khan's judicial remand till November 16.

Duty judge Khalid Bashir conducted the hearing. Call Data Record (CDR) of the investigation officer was submitted in the court. Rana Sanaullah's counsels also requested the court take action over their client's plea to hand over the seized car.

The lawyer of Rana Sanaullah told court that police is using mega phone. There are around 300 police personnel and 5 to 6 lawyers, he added.

The court, after hearing the arguments, extended the judicial remand of PML-N leader for 14 days.

While talking to media outside court, Rana Sanaullah said that Azadi March would be successful.

'Every patriotic citizen should participate in March. PM Imran Khan and Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed should have resigned after Tezgam train fire incident,' he added.

Earlier on last hearing, the court had extended the judicial remand of Rana Sanaullah till November 2 and summoned a detailed record of the phone calls of PML-N leader on the request of the defence side.

On July 1, Sanaullah was arrested by the ANF after the discovery of a large stash of contraband in his vehicle from near the Sukheke area in Punjab.
