Naqi stars with dazzling ton.

KARACHI -- Opener Ali Naqi dazzled with an unbeaten century as SHC Greens sealed a narrow nine-run victory against SHC Hyderabad in their match of the fifth Sindh High Court (SHC) Inter-judicial T20 Cricket Tournament at the Quaid-e-Azam Park in Steel Township on Wednesday.

Naqi smashed 119 from just 59 deliveries with the help of eight sixes and as many fours to enable SHC Greens collect 190-1. Vinod Ramesh contributed 60 off 52 balls (six boundaries and two sixes) while sharing an unbroken partnership of 170 with Naqi.

SHC Hyderabad, in reply made 181-7 with Shahid Memon scoring a 38-ball 51 (three sixes and three fours).

Nusrat Ali grabbed two wickets for 29 runs with his off-spinners.

Meanwhile in the tournament's opening fixture played at the RLCA Gulberg Ground, SHC Blues stunned the star-studded SHC Greens by seven wickets.

Naqi was the main run-getter with 89 (62 balls, five sixes and five fours) as SHC Greens reached 168-5.
