NAB gives clean chit to PM's Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari.

ISLAMABAD -- The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday gave a clean chit to Prime Minister Imran Khan's special assistant on overseas Pakistanis and human resource development, Zulfi Bukhari, as the anti-graft watchdog's chairperson, Justice (R) Javed Iqbal, approved closing the inquiry against the politician.

According to a notification from the anti-corruption body, the decision to close the inquiry against Bukhari was approved owing to lack of evidence.

Separately, the NAB approved nine new inquiries in a meeting of the its executive board.
