NAB approves five inquiries against various individuals, entities.

ISLAMABAD -- National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved five inquiries against various individuals and entities.

Meeting of the Executive Board of the anti-graft body was held in Islamabad today with retired Justice Javed Iqbal in the chair.

The meeting also accorded approval to investigation against CDA officers and others.

The anti-corruption organization decided to end investigation against former Chairman National Insurance Corporation Limited Ayaz Khna niazi and others while closing the inquiries against former MNA Mian Imtiaz Ahmed, Chaudhry Muhammad Munir and others, former PPP MNA Ghulam Rabbani Khar and others and MNA and former federal minister Hina Rabbani Khar on lack of evidence and according to law.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said NAB is committed to eradicate corruption from the country and take the mega graft cases to their logical end, besides recovering the money from corrupt elements. He said motto of NAB is...
