NA committee summons finance Secretary and Governor state bank.

ISLAMABAD -- NA standing committee on finance and revenue while taking notice of irregularities in the matter of appointment of senior officers and President of national bank of Pakistan at new York has summoned finance secretary and governor state bank of Pakistan on November 3.

Two days meeting of standing committee will take place in state bank building Karachi under chairman committee Faiz ullah Kamoka.

Approval will be accorded with two bills during a meeting, an irregular appointment of president of national bank is also a part of agenda of the meeting.

Opposition also had raised objection on this count.

The details of recruitments made by National bank President in the bank during the two years has also been sought.

According to sources, National bank administration made appointments of officers in bulk in New York branch of the bank which were not required at all.
