Murdered man identified as slain politician's aide.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- The unidentified man whose body was found in a canal near Chak Jangal Mai Safooran of Pirmahal tehsil on Thursday has been identified as that of a close aide of Abdul Rehman Jatt, who was killed in a controversial incident involving police and PTI leader Dr Nisar Jatt on Oct 12.

The deceased has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Cheema alias Bilali Jatt, a resident of Chak 305-JB, Mansoorwali, Gojra. He was close to Abdul Rehman Jatt who was the independent candidate from PP-108 Faisalabad in the last election and had supported Rana Sana of the PML-N.

According to a first information report (FIR) registered with Thikriwala (Faisalabad), the police on Oct 12 had registered a complaint of Sidra Saeed, the sister of deceased Abdul Rehman Jatt, Abdul Rehman Jatt was allegedly attacked and killed by his cousin former MNA Dr Nisar Jatt and his accomplices over political...
