MPC for declaring LoC as ceasefire line again.

LAHORE -- Saying no to any compromise on Kashmir dispute, a multi-party conference held here on Sunday demanded removal of the so-called barbed-wire from the Line of Control and getting it declared as ceasefire line again.

Organised by the Jamaat-i-Islami, the moot also sought a complete ban on trade with India as well as barring New Delhi from using Pakistan for its trade with Afghanistan.

It said as the unprovoked firing by Indian forces on the Line of Control has led to hundreds of casualties of civilians as well as of armed forces, Islamabad must sever its diplomatic ties with New Delhi and close its air space for Indian flights to lodge a strong protest.
