MoU signed to make capital inclusive for differently-abled people.

ISLAMABAD -- A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Kashmir Orphans Relief Trust (Kort) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) at Parliament House on Thursday to create a more inclusive environment in the capital for differently-abled people.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said taking care of those in need, especially the ones who are marginalised, is the collective responsibility of each member of society.

He also stressed the need for taking initiatives to cater to the needs of street children, and appreciated the performance of the Special Parliamentary Committee on Disabled Persons, which is the first to deliberate upon and taking policy initiatives for the welfare of orphans, street children and differently-abled persons.
