KIU signed a MoU with community research and development organization CRDO for collaborative activities in the field of Tourism, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Biology, Earth Science, Disaster Management and Social Sciences. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah, Vice Chancellor KIU and CEO of CRDO were the signatory.

It was also attended by Dr. Nasir Mehmood Additional Registrar PEC, Hafiz Ehsan ul Haq Member Planning CDA. Mr. Imran Inam from CRDO signed MoU. KIU and CRDO will work together in the areas of Entrepreneurship, mineral processing, construction industry, Social Sector Development, Women Empowerment, Hospitality and Tourism Management.
