More stranded Afghans return.

KHYBER -- The stranded Afghans continue to return to their country via Torkham border as Pakistan kept the border crossing open for pedestrian movement on Saturday.

Officials said that as many as 4,405 Afghans, including women and children, were allowed to cross the border with majority of them without travel documents.

The district administration had arranged for the returning Afghans to come to Torlcham border crossing early on Saturday as the administration wanted to avoid undue assembly of these people in Landi Kotal and other locations prior to their departure for Afghanistan.

Shamsul Islam, the focal person for returning Pakistanis, told this correspondent that 447 Pakistanis also arrived on Saturday morning from Afghanistan.
