Monitoring Committee Members hold 8th review meetings in Mithi.

MITHI -- The Monitoring Committee constituted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding the Tharparkar District issues and their solutions especially related to health, education, food, drinking water and others held a meeting under the chair of Convener and Secretary implementation and Coordination Services and General Administrative Department Dr. Riaz Ahmed Siddiqui at Darbar Hall Mithi. The Committee members Divisional Commissioner Mirpurkhas Abdul Waheed Shaikh, Special Health Secretary Nisar Ahmed Memon, and Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr. Shahzad Tahir Thaheem, Special Secretary Public Health Engineering Hadi Bakhsh Zardari and other officials of the health, education, livestock, Public Health Engineering , forest, roads, agriculture and others departments attended the meeting.

The Monitoring Committee reviewed the last meeting decisions which was taken regarding the health and directed to the ADHO that till the upcoming meeting of Monitoring meeting the hospitals machinery to be repaired on a priority basis and made a list of need based necessary machinery equipments people can get the benefit of. He also directed to the special Secretary Health that medical superintendent to be issued in the explanatory letter not to use up the funds to repair the machinery of the hospitals and also directed that to take measures to fulfill the shortage of doctors and other staff in the hospitals. Convener has also directed to the Special Secretary Health those doctors, who are posted in district Tharparkar and they have not still joining they will be issued explanatory letter, adding that health situation become little bit progressive in Tharparkar district but need to have some more improvement.

The Committee Members also that directed to the Department of Public Health Engineering officers to sort out all the issues of drinking water to before the next meeting and also directed that issues of the water supply line from the Nauokot to Nagarparkar be a quick resolved to provide clean drinking water to the people of Thar. Monitoring Committee members directed to the Department of Education officials regarding the quality education and closed schools and directed that before the next meeting all the measures would be taken...
