Mongolian Fine Art Masterpieces on Display

A painting exhibition at the Association of Traditional Painting is on display at the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Mongolian Artists from July 23 through August 1. The Association of Traditional Painting was established by graduates of the Traditional Painting Department at the Fine Art Institute in 2002. The association has an annual art exhibition.

About 50 artworks by 24 artists from the Association of Traditional painting are on display this year. Each piece of art captures the artists’ inner world and skilled sense of color harmony, and all exhibit modern and new ideas. Undesnii Shuudan daily newspaper featured the traditional artist, O.Zolbootuguldur, whose painting “Bird Catcher” is included in the exhibition.

-Could you introduce yourself, please?

-I am O.Zolbootuguldur. I graduated from the traditional painting class at the Fine Art Institute in 2010. After graduating school, I studied in Poland for two years. Then I came back to my homeland and began working on my art.
