Mongol Naadam-mongol Brand 2013' Fair Promotes National Manufacturers

The “Mongol Naadam-Mongol Brand 2013” fair is taking place at Misheel Expo, displaying magnificent Mongolian national costumes, cashmere clothes, leather goods, handmade products, Mongolian national food, and traditional medicines all made in Mongolia.

Prime Minister, N.Altankhuyag, attended the opening of the fair and was introduced to goods made by domestic manufacturers.

During the visit, Prime Minister granted first place prizes to the five and six year old participants of the Junior Anklebone Shooting Championship.

The fair not only sells goods, but also promotes traditional cultures with live traditional music performances and other events led by people wearing traditional costumes.

The Prime Minister said, “I not only attended the fair opening but also enjoyed a small traditional concert. Our artists’ skills and talent are so brilliant and have acheived very high standards. Mongolian youth are being acknowledged on the international arts stage. Recently, Domog Folk Band won first place at an International music competition in Austria named after Franz Peter Schubert. We Mongolians are now able to wow the world.
