Money changer robbed, guard injured.

RAWALPINDI -- Five robbers looted Rs4.5 million from a money changer after injuring a security guard in Kalar Syedan on Saturday night.

Noman Shah complained to the police that he along with two security guards was returning to Kalar Syedan after getting cash from Rawalpindi when the armed men blocked their way.

He said when his security guard Zafar Khan attempted to overpower the robbers, they shot and injured him. The robbers then snatched the cash and escaped.

Separately, a shopkeeper was robbed by two gunmen in the Cantt area while another man was deprived of his motorcycle in Westridge.
