LAHORE -- The new trends of acquiring modern design innovation has attained the highest priority in industrial sector to capture global markets by strictly adhering to international standards of products.

It was stated by Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) engineer Dr. Shahid Munir while talking to a corporate sector delegation led by engineer Almas Hyder, former president Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Chairman here on Wednesday.

He said that 'Spel Technology Support' design innovation through information technology based autodesk software had attached great importance in industry worldwide to meet the emerging challenges of global markets. He said it exclusively focused on addressing people's needs with what's technologically feasible and devising a viable business strategy to derive value from market opportunity.

He said PHEC mission was to empower the creative minds of students and educators with design innovation so that they were able to take on complex challenges of today and in the future.

He said that in prevailing circumstances no nation could progress in any sphere of life without equipping itself with rapidly developing information technology.
