MNA Mahar meets Bilawal, asks for work on Ghotki package.

SUKKUR -- A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party-affiliated Mahar brothers, who wield considerable political influence in Ghotki district, met PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at CM House in Karachi on Tuesday, according to a spokesman for MNA Sardar Mohammad Bux Khan Mahar.

The spokesman told media personnel in Ghotki on Tuesday that the other members of the delegation were Special Assistant to the CM Mir Bangal Khan Mahar, Haji Zabardast Khan Mahar, Haji Meer Khan Mahar, Haji Dadan Khan Mahar and Ghulam Rasool Khan Mahar.

After discussing political situation in the province with the delegation, Mr Bhutto-Zardari expressed his confidence that PPP would make a clean sweep in the upcoming local government elections throughout Sindh, including Ghotki district, the spokesman said.

He told the Mahars that he remembered the commitments he had made with them at a public meeting of PPP in Khangarh some time ago.
