Minor boy killed by stray kite string.

LAHORE -- A minor boy got a fatal neck injury and died instantly after string of a stray kite fell on him in Shadbagh area here on Thursday.

The incident occurred at Akhri Mint Stop when Chand Ali was taking his wife and five-year-old son Ali Haidar on his bike to a local market.

He told the police that as soon as he reached the main road, suddenly he found his son in a pool of blood and stopped the two-wheeler immediately.

Later, it appeared that string of a stray kite slit his throat open and he immediately rushed him to nearby Kot Khwaja Saeed Hospital where the doctors declared him 'already expired', he said.
