Minister visits martyred policeman's home for condolence.

KARACHI -- Sindh InforAmation Minister Saeed Ghani on Thursday visited the house of Constable Mohammad Irfan, who was shot dead during an encounter with unknown bandits in New Karachi area a day earlier, and condoled with the family.

Pakistan Peoples Party Karachi Central president Zafar Siddiqui and other party activists accompanied him during his meeting with the bereaved family.

Later speaking to reporters, Mr Ghani paid glowing tributes to the sacrifices of policemen for returning peace to the city.

'The whole nation is proud of the brave policemen like Shaheed Irfan who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.'

The minister directed the authorities concerned to arrest those involved in the killing of Irfan as soon as possible so that they could be given exemplary...
