Minister Human Settlements directs to launch low cost housing schemes.

KARACHI -- Sindh minister for Human Settlements and Special Development Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has asked concerned officers to identify land at suitable location for launching low cost housing schemes at affordable price for poor people of the province. This he said while presiding over a meeting of Sindh Katchiabadies Authority here in his office on Thursday. Secretary Human Settlements and Special Development BaqaUllahUnar, Director General SKKA and Regional Directors also attended the meeting.

The meeting was informed that there were 1429 Katchiabadies in Sindh. Out of which 578 are in Karachi, 418 are in Hyderabad, 87 are in Mirpurkhas, 89 are in Sukkur, and 113 are in Larkana while 144 are in Shaheed Benazirabad.
