Militant killed in Khyber not 'missing person': ISPR.

PESHAWAR -- A militant commander, who was killed in an intelligence-based operation in Khyber tribal district on Monday, carried out activities against security forces despite being listed as a missing person, according to the military's media wing.

Commander Liaquat Ali alias Shaheen was killed in the action jointly carried out by the counter-terrorism department and security forces in Ghareeza area of Jamrud tehsil on Monday.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said solider Saleem Khan, a resident of Topi Swabi, was also martyred in the exchange of fire with militants.

It said weapons and ammunition were also seized.
